Privacy Policy
Spider Hunter is a single-player game. It has no user accounts, no login, and no servers of our own. We do not operate a backend that receives or stores your data. This policy explains what is handled anyway — almost all of it by Google, on the advertising and payments side — and what you can do about it.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. We do not ask for, collect, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other personal information. There is no registration and no user profile.
What is stored on your device
Your progress — level, coins, unlocked suits, completed missions — and your settings such as music and effects volume, haptics, look sensitivity and graphics quality are saved locally on your device only. None of it is uploaded to us. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
What third parties collect
The app includes two Google services, each governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Google AdMob — advertising
Spider Hunter shows banner, interstitial and rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier — the Android Advertising ID on Android, or the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS
- Device information such as model, operating system version, language and country
- Approximate, non-precise location derived from your IP address
- Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, viewed or clicked
This is used to select and measure advertising, to stop you seeing the same ad repeatedly, and to detect invalid activity. Google describes its handling of this data in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your privacy choices. If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or a similar consent law, the app shows a consent form the first time it runs, provided by Google's User Messaging Platform. Your answer decides whether you see personalised or non-personalised advertising.
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt appears the first time the game runs and asks whether Spider Hunter may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, no IDFA is shared and you see non-personalised ads instead. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
On either platform you can remove advertising from the game entirely with the one-off Remove Ads purchase.
Google Play Billing and the App Store — purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases, including removing advertisements. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play on Android and by Apple on iOS. We never see or receive your payment card details. The store gives us only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase completed, so the app can unlock what you paid for. Apple's handling of that data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Analytics
The app contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting service. No usage statistics are transmitted to us.
Permissions the app asks for
- Internet and network access — to load advertisements and validate purchases.
- Vibration / haptics — feedback in combat. It can be switched off in the pause menu.
- Advertising identifier — used by Google AdMob as described above. On iOS this is requested through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and is entirely your choice.
- Purchases — required for optional in-app purchases, handled by Google Play Billing on Android and the App Store on iOS.
The game asks for nothing else. It does not request your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, calendar or device location.
Children
Spider Hunter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at the address above and we will address it.
Retention and deletion
Because we do not collect or store your data on any server, there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Your progress lives only on your device and is gone when you uninstall. To limit advertising data, reset or delete your advertising ID as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests relating to advertising data should be directed to Google. You are welcome to contact us at any time and we will help where we can.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and material changes will be noted in the app's store listing.
